As senior director of channels – Americas, Melissa Lyons was instrumental in Scality’s significant acceleration of its North American channel business in the past year. By helping to launch a new partner program and a new partner portal, she made it easy for partners to grow their storage business with Scality. Lyons helped build channel incentives that reward partners for identifying and closing business in key areas of focus, such as Scality’s acclaimed midmarket ARTESCA product.
Partner enablement has also been a key focus for Lyons in her first year at Scality. Partners in the Americas region can now participate in Scality’s Certified Architect training program, and have an opportunity to work 1:1 with Lyons to develop sales plays that are custom tailored to their go-to-market strategy. She also helped Scality’s marketing group to evolve the Scality lead flow and build an inside sales team that is focused on developing prospects and helping partners to execute demand generation programs – activities that can further expand their revenue streams.
