Scality appoints Pierre Derome as vice president of engineering
San Francisco, CA – October 20, 2016 Scality, world leader in object and cloud storage, today announced the appointment of Pierre Derome as Vice President of Engineering. With this appointment and promotion, Scality strengthens its lead in the object storage market.

Pierre Derome, Scality’s new VP of Engineering, has been leading Web, IT, and technical teams for over 20 years at influential companies including T-Online France, Nortel, Betclic Everest Group and Kertel. At T-Online he was CTO and led engineering managing a team of 200 software engineers and a yearly budget up to €300M.
