Pharmacie Familia, a rapidly growing Belgian network, launched a strategic plan to increase its market share and optimize its processes. In a context where cyberattacks targeting healthcare companies are multiplying, data security became a major pillar of the transformation.

Before the project, Pharmacie Familia had relied on magnetic tapes for years to protect pharmacy data. Pharmacie Familia modernized its backup strategy with Scality ARTESCA, a cyber-resilient object storage solution deployed on-premises and integrated natively with Veeam Backup & Replication.

The solution was delivered in partnership with IT integrator Trustteam and enables Pharmacie Familia to migrate backups off tape, encrypt data at rest and in flight, and enforce immutability to prevent tampering.
