The platform watches itself, within rules you set.

The platform reads its own telemetry stream before the workload feels a problem. The data plane generates telemetry at every layer: drives, servers, network, services, application access. A maintenance agent reads the full stream in real time, against the history of the system it has been watching for months, and surfaces what a human would catch only after the SLA dips.

Power is a hard constraint at modern data center scale. AI and storage push past the budget the rack was provisioned for. Guardian's power agent watches the workload and tunes the platform to consume what's actually being used, not what the platform might use.

A CISO needs to know at any moment whether the platform is configured correctly, whether it is free of known vulnerabilities, and whether the controls in place are actually enforced. The security posture layer reads platform state continuously against the customer-defined baseline and produces evidence the security team can hand to auditors, regulators, or insurers without a scramble.

The AI tooling a customer runs across the rest of the environment should also be able to operate the storage. Guardian exposes Scality storage operations through MCP, so customer-side AI can read state, run diagnostics, and recommend or execute approved actions, the same way it operates the rest of the environment.
