One year on, CPEM expanded from internal Veeam backups to offering "Object Storage as a Service" (Veeam, Microsoft 365, VMs, and dedicated buckets), with all new storage investments and added capacity now relying exclusively on Scality technology.

After a thorough market analysis and deep technical study, Scality emerged as the solution that best met CPEM’s requirements:

  • Disaster recovery implementation: The adoption of ARTESCA allowed CPEM to establish a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) with a separate hosting provider located on the other side of France.
  • Full deployment: Leveraging internal expertise, CPEM deployed a secured, self-hosted object storage solution. This architecture ensures client data security and the ability to trigger a DRP even if CPEM’s own teams lose access to administration tools.
