Why Partner with Scality?

Enterprises today recognize the power of a complete solution for their business issues. Partnering with Scality brings a world leader in object and cloud storage to your application solution.
Scality offers programs for channel partners and for ISVs seeking to develop applications. If you have a RING-certified application, you’re eligible for the highest level of partnership.

S3 Certified Application

The partner’s application is known to work with Scality S3 Server. Testing is completed by the partner and results validated by Scality.

Criteria:

  • S3 Portal certified: S3 application with Self-certification through online portal

Benefits:

  • Listed as a Certified S3 application on s3.scality.com (also requires co-listing by the partner on their site)
  • Right to use Scality logo on collateral (requires approval of each collateral piece)
  • Scality social media promotion

Preferred Partner

For leading application and ISV partners who have a product validated with Scality RING and are identified by Scality as strong solution partners for our customers.

The partner’s application must work with the RING. This is done via one of the following means

  • S3 Portal certified: S3 Application with Self Certification through online portal.
  • RING Tested – by Scality or Partner
  • Field Proven: Known to work and proven in one of our customers or through POC.

Benefits:

  • Listed partner on our website (requires co-listing by the partner on their site)
  • Right to use Scality logo on collateral (requires approval of each collateral piece)
  • listed in our Solution collateral and website for the associated area (e.g. Backup partners, Media & Entertainment, etc.)
  • Solution brief about the shared solution
  • Scality will support a press release from the partner. Scality will provide quote and social media support

Elite Partner

These partners correspond to our business and application focus areas. With these vendors we expect a close corporate AND field relationship where we help each other win deals.

Benefits:

  • Named Executive Sponsor: for each preferred partner we will have a named executive (VP level or above) who can act as their escalation contact (with quarterly review of progress together)
  • Sales account planning by region. For these partners we will offer joint regional account planning with our EMEA, US and Japan regions
  • Internal Sales Training – partner will have the opportunity to train the Scality field teams.
  • Joint webinars on the solution (Scality will provide speaker and logistics). Requires partner to provide a speaker and help promote.
  • Joint white paper on technical integration of the products
  • Sales Solution Sheet – built for the scality and partner sales team – help them position the solution, the value of it and the unique differentiators against the competition
  • Once a joint customer reference is identified then a jointly branded Case Study document will be created
  • Market Development Funds: up to $10k will be made available annually for each Preferred partner. This requires the partner to co-sponsor to the same $ level.
