Countdown: 3, 2, 1… Go!

With over 100% growth, a full list of features, and a rather robust ecosystem, the pace of innovation and transformation is showing no signs of slowing down at AWS re:Invent 2016. New services, expanded capabilities, and rich features are accelerating a broad spectrum of tools, solutions, and sheer capacity offered by Amazon AWS. AWS re:Invent 2016 is off to a great start, and so is Scality.

Scality launched its open source Scality S3 Server on the Amazon AWS Marketplace. Completely free and AWS S3-compatible, the power of scale-out multi-petabyte object storage technology is now available with a single mouse click. In a matter of seconds, anyone can start using very powerful object storage technology. One might wonder, “So what?”

With this launch Scality provides new ecosystem and market access for our ISV application partners, customers, educators, and enthusiasts of the maker movement who want to jump into the world of object storage.

The object and cloud storage technology that powers Los Alamos National Lab’s Trinity Supercomputer is now available to run your dev, test, prototype, POC, and product validation instantaneously. Go from test to production with zero code change. Many of our ISV application partners are already using the AWS AMI from Scality to validate the value of joint solutions, build a high degree of confidence, and establish a smoother customer experience for solutions in the “marketplace.” Did we mention it is open source? The license is based on Apache, and anyone downloading Scality S3 Server is free to use it any way they wish.

What are you waiting for? The wide array of offerings from AWS allows many permutations and combinations, making it even easier to leverage the power of integrated solutions with Scality via the AWS Marketplace.
