San Francisco, CA – September 12, 2017 – Scality, a world leader in object and cloud storage, today announced it has filled three key Vice President positions in the United States. David Savage, who joins Scality this month, will spearhead the Americas sales organization, which includes all US-based account executives, sales development representatives and sales engineers, and will drive go-to-market strategy for the region across all Scality sales functions, including strategic alliances, professional services, and support. Michelle Rockler, who joined in July, heads the company’s global strategic alliances organization, which includes partnerships with Cisco, Dell, and HPE. Wally MacDermid, who joined in June, leads the company’s cloud-focused business development efforts as it continues to inspire a new multi-cloud world with its recently-announced Scality Zenko Multi-cloud Controller.
“Our customer experience starts with our customer-facing teams and technology ecosystems as we solve significant storage problems for our customers with focus on petabyte-scale systems for large enterprise and service providers,” said Erwan Menard, President and COO at Scality. “David Savage’s and Michelle Rockler’s experience is perfectly tailored to our aggressive expansion plans across all industry segments, including cloud service providers, telco/cable, IoT, financial services, healthcare, media and entertainment, industries with heavy research and development workloads, and government agencies.”

“Wally MacDermid joins right as we launch our Zenko cloud controller product line, which builds on our leading Scality RING file and object storage product and expands our value-add for customers in the new multi-cloud era,” added Menard.
